Mitzvah Day is an interfaith day of social action and we will have lots of opportunities to volunteer. We will be sorting and packing clothes, food and toiletries at two locations - one in Borehamwood and one in Brent Cross. To sign up, please click the button below.

We are also looking for communities e.g synagoues, mosques and schools to hold collections for us. All items must be brand new and unopened. The list of items we are collecting:

Nappies (size 0-7)

Baby wipes

Nappy sacks

Nappy cream

Baby food pouches

Baby & toddler snacks

Aptamil formula

Colouring books

Coloured pencils

Baby toiletries (e.g. soap, shampoo, lotion)

Children's toiletries (e.g. soap, shampoo, toothbrush)

Underwear (age 2-12)

Vests (age 0-12)

Pyjamas (age 0-12)

You will need volunteers on the day to check the items are new and to make sure that the donations are sorted by category/size e.g. all the baby shampoo is together and all the pyjamas are together by size. The items then need to be dropped at our hub in Borehamwood.
