Citizens Advice Barnet @ Sebby's Corner

Sebby's Corner is thrilled to announce our new service, Citizens Advice Barnet @ Sebby's Corner! Together, we're making it easier for families to access the advice they need in a welcoming and trusted space.

What is Citizens Advice Barnet @ Sebby's Corner?

This new service gives families the opportunity to book appointments with a dedicated Citizens Advice advisor right here at our hub. Whether they need guidance on benefits, housing, debt, or other challenges, our advisor is here to provide tailored, confidential support to help them navigate life's difficulties.

How do families get referred?

Families need to be referred by a professional. The professional (who we call our "Referral Partner") must also be registered with us. Once they are registered, the Referral Partner will complete a Citizens Advice Barnet @ Sebby's Corner referral form. On this form they will give us the families details and a brief explanation of what the family are seeking guidance on. Once the form has been completed, they will be emailed a link to book an appointment with an advisor. We suggest the Referral Partner forward this link to the family so they can book the appointment at a time that's convenient for them. All appointments take place at Barnet hub in EN5.

When can families be referred?

This is a year-round service so families can be referred at any time. Please note we only offer appointments on a Wednesday morning and appointments are on a first come, first served basis. As such, we expect appointment slots to get filled up quickly.

How many times can families be referred?

Families can be referred for one session of advice initially. If after this appointment they still need support, they can request a second appointment, subject to having followed the actions recommended by the advisor.
