What is a referral?

A referral at Sebby's Corner is the process by which families are referred to us by a professional, such as midwives, health visitors and teachers. These families have typically been flagged as needing aid to get them out of adverse living situations. It could be those living in poverty, temporary accommodation, women and their children who have fled domestic abuse, refugees, asylum seekers and victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

What is the Essentials Support service?

Our main service is our Essentials Support service where families can receive essential resources such as clothing, baby equipment, nappies and other items for their children, up to the age of 10. We can support any family in need, as long as they are able to collect the items from our Barnet hub in EN5. It is important to note that families may leave with several bags and must organise their own transport home.

What is the Birthday Club service?

We also offer a Birthday Club for children whose families may struggle to buy them a birthday gift. We can provide a gift, birthday cake and decorations. We can support any family in need, as long as they are able to collect the items from our Barnet hub in EN5.

How do we collect the items?

Please note the referral process is not complete until you have booked an appointment for you or the family to collect the items. Once you have made the referral, please use the link emailed to you to book an appointment. This link can also be found below:
