School Uniform Support

During the summer, families can apply to our school uniform scheme, which provides vouchers for uniform and school supplies for their children. This support helps alleviate the financial burden of back-to-school expenses, ensuring that every child has the essentials they need to start the school year confidently.

What is School Uniform Support?

Every summer we run our School Uniform support programme to help families prepare for the
new school year. We provide children with everything they needed to start school with
confidence, including
a voucher for school uniform, shoes, backpacks, lunchboxes and stationery. Please note we can only support children who are entering Reception to Year 6.

How do families get referred?

The family must be referred by a professional, e.g. teacher, health visitor or family support worker. The professional (who we call our "Referral Partner") must also be registered with us. Once they are registered, the Referral Partner will complete a School Uniform Support referral form. Once the form has been completed, they will be sent a link to book a School Uniform Collection slot where the items can be collected from our hub in Barnet. We recommend the Referral Partner forward the link to book the appointment directly to the family but the Referral Partner can attend on behalf of the family if the family will struggle to collect the items themselves.

When can families be referred?

Referrals for our School Uniform Support open mid April and remain open until the end of May, or when we reach capacity - whichever happens first.

How many times can a family be referred?

Families can be referred for our School Uniform Support each year if they are still in need.
