At Sebby’s Corner, we believe no child should go without the essentials they need to thrive. Every day, families across our community are forced to make impossible choices between heating and eating, buying nappies or paying the rent. We exist to change that.

Our mission is simple: to provide dignity, kindness, and practical support to families in crisis, ensuring that children have the essentials they need to grow, learn, and flourish.

Founded in 2021 in memory of Bianca’s brother Sebby, the charity has grown rapidly, supporting thousands of children and parents each year through compassion, collaboration and community action.

What We Do
Sebby’s Corner supports vulnerable families across London and the South East, including those experiencing poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, seeking asylum, or struggling to make ends meet. Families are referred to us by trusted frontline professionals such as social workers, health visitors and midwives to ensure we reach those most in need.

We provide over £800,000 worth of essentials every year through a wide range of services:

Essentials Support – Supplying clothing, nappies, formula, baby equipment, toiletries and other vital items packed with care and dignity.

New Parent Baby Essentials Experience – Welcoming new and expectant parents to our hub for one-to-one appointments where they can choose essentials such as hospital bags, newborn clothing and baby equipment.

Birthday Club – Ensuring every child referred to us can celebrate their birthday with a special gift, cake, balloons and decorations, along with family tickets to London Zoo.

School Uniform Support – Providing brand new uniforms, shoes, backpacks and stationery so children can start school feeling confident and included.

Christmas Support – Offering a festive shop where struggling parents can choose presents for their children and receive hampers and gifts for the whole family.

Through these services we relieve financial pressure, reduce stress and isolation, and give children the chance to feel safe, cared for and included.
